About ~ Salt Lick Creek ~ Macon Co. Tennessee
Welcome to our research center. Our research now span's over ten years, and
has many creditable sources. Photo's, Grave marker Shots, official records and
cemetery locations help to support, the information we have gathered. Thomas
Marion Bean left us with, pieces of the past up to his children. Aunt Lera
Hackett spent time working with Thomas Garland Bean, to update the info for
the
information in the Clan Mac Bean of North America, Volume III. Also on the
Snow's. Last but not least is "Doug Moore", Master Genealogist and founder of
the U S Genweb, and the one that connected our lines with the world. (Bean,
Moore, Rush, Hestand)

Their information was used as guidelines. We have not just a family tree,
with
names and assumptions, but a very interesting "Family History" from passage to
America, marching thru the colonial years, living in Watauga, and on Indian
terriotory, to a divided nation during the civil war into the modern world we
live in today.

Other surname's include: Hawkin's, Borden, Moren, Butler, Whitley's, Goad,
Canada's, Chitwood's, Coon's, Davis, Hudson, Jackson, Jenkins, Kirby, Jones,
Knight, Leonard, Owen's, Parkhurst, Pearson, Pedigo, Rice, Slate, Stafford,
Stubblefield, Witcher, and York. And many more.

At Salt Lick Creek files we wish to share our research with all connected,
that
have documented research and are also willing to share and help to expand the
family history of these lines. We have this site and also a message board, for
questions, the exchange of source documents and information, shared look-up's
from our growing Library and Your's.

At the present time our files have 4000 people, 14 Generations, and 652
Surnames. This is just the outline version.

Looking forward to hearing from your side of the family.

It's still a work in progress!
